Fabulous location. We walked scarfell pike via the corridor route. £5 all day with an honesty box. Didn’t use the toilets so can not comment. Coffee & vending machine for snacks and drinks available.

Don't recommend this camping site. They are charging 1£ for cold water in a shower. The eco toilets they are proud for are rubbish: one cubicle had no light inside, another had door locking mechanism broken and in the 3rd one someone did poop onto the floor and not into toilet itself. Problem was that no one from campsite staff checked to clean it.

Great basic campsite: toilets, showers, coffee machine. Has amazing views with a small brook and waterfall at the back, a great campsite to stay at for a couple nights of back to basics camping

The campsite required cash payment (£30/night) and offered limited facilities. The bathrooms were locked early in the morning, and the owner, Pete, was less than welcoming and annoying. A £1 fee for a shower with poor water pressure was an added inconvenience. The toilet facilities were basic, and the overall experience felt overpriced.

Good location to start the hikes but the place is totally and undoubtedly overpriced. 2 people on a campervan 30£ + showers 1£ each. The facilities were dirty and the showers are closed between 12 and 17:00 p.m. We wouldn't recommend this place!!!

Lovely place, showers (very hot), lots of walks nearby, great owner who checks in with you and cares how your stay is. Coffee machine/vending machine on site too

Friendly, but didn‘t appreciate the locked toilets at the field. Showers 1£ per ~3 minutes and if two people shower at the same time they barley function. Perfect starting point for hikes and nice views. 30£ is overpriced.

Owner Peter is an aggressive man who threatened my wife and children. Police have been informed. Another turn up/cash only/ basic field. Won’t be going back.

Fabulous camp site set in peaceful location. Facilities are clean and great, very hot showers and excellent washing up areas. Eco toilets are clean and better than most camp site loos!!! Tim who was looking after the site when we stayed was so friendly and helpful an absolute gent who even helped us with the use of a stove as we had forgotten ours

Nice place where you can camp with you tent or in your vehicle. There are as well beds in the barn but you have to check in advance availability. From this place you can start different routes of hiking. There are facilities like toilets and showers(you need 1£ coin for like 6 min timer). To mention there is not connection in that area. The price is like 8£ per night per person, and for keeping the car there as well like 8£ for whole duration of camping.
